Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability
Participation in the Karate Australia Guardian Girls Karate Program involves physical activity and training which carries inherent risks of injury. Karate Australia implements safety measures but cannot eliminate all risk. Please read this waiver carefully before signing.
1. Eligibility and Health
I confirm I meet all requirements to participate and am medically and physically fit for karate training. I will inform instructors of any health conditions or physical limitations.
2. Voluntary Assumption of Risk
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation including physical injury, illness, disability, death, or property loss, whether arising from the negligence of Karate Australia or otherwise.
3. Release and Waiver
I release and hold harmless Karate Australia, instructors, organisers, venues, volunteers, and representatives from claims, liabilities, damages, or costs arising from my participation.
4. Compliance with Safety Requirements
I agree to follow all instructions, safety rules, and program policies issued by Karate Australia or its instructors at all times during the program.
5. Media Consent
I grant Karate Australia permission to use photographs or video of me for promotional or educational purposes, unless I notify the organisation otherwise in writing prior to the event.
